Fee per course: $249 The cost for textbooks/course materials is separate. Students receive a book list and instructions for ordering the books when given access to the course

Module 1: Feb 7-March 20
(Registration Deadline is Feb 4):

  • Course 1: Introduction to Exercise Science – Level I (Anatomy and Kinesiology)
  • Course 2: Introduction to Exercise Science – Level II (Exercise Physiology)

Module 2: March 21-May 1
(Registration Deadline is Mar 18):

  • Course 3: Health Risk Profiles and Fitness Assessment Techniques
  • Course 4: Business Administration and Management Aspects for Personal Trainers

Module 3: May 2-June 12
(Registration Deadline is Apr 29):

  • Course 5: Designing Exercise Prescriptions for Normal/Special Populations
  • Optional Course: field Internship in Personal Fitness Training

Advanced Certificate Module: Feb 7-March 20

  • Course 1: The Science and Biomechanics of Resistance/weight Training Techniques
  • Course 2: Functional flexibility, Core and Balance Training
  • Course 3: Nutritional Analysis and Management

Fall 2011-2012

Switching to ALL OPEN ENROLLMENT

Starting September 19, 2011, all of our courses will be offered solely via open enrollment. This means you can register at any time, and once you are logged in you have 8 weeks to complete the course(s) you registered for. Students still will have two full years to complete the program.
